16oz can. Bottom stamp is 'WORKINGMAN'S 11/13/24'.
Black colored body with a red mahogany back lit edge. Tan colored head, and this lasts quite some time as a full cap. Any lacing on the glass slides back down into the body.
Aroma is fudge chocolate and vanilla.
Taste is dark roasted malts, chocolate, and vanilla. Added sweetness from honey. Lengthy aftertaste is a mellow mix of honey sweetened malt with additional sweetened chocolate and vanilla.
More than medium mouthfeel. Slick texture. Any bitterness is overcome by the sweet chocolate and vanilla. Good carbonation.
Malty chocolate porter sweetened with honey and vanilla.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a dark mahogany brown, with little light penetration in the glass, with a half finger light khaki head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, cocoa, graham cracker, vanilla and honey. Flavor follows, with dark toasted malt, milk chocolate, vanilla, graham cracker and honey; lingering honey in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Somewhat of an odd duck; there are clear notes of a dry Irish porter here, but very distinct honey character and a bit of sweetness. The result is quite drinkable. The vanilla is distinct, but at an appropriate level. There is a flavor in the aftertaste that reminds me of the somewhat wild taste in fresh, unfiltered honey, which add some character. Unusual, but tasty and well balanced. I'd get this again if I saw it.

This is a lot sweeter than one would expect from an Irish porter but I guess the addition of vanilla and honey hints at a sweeter then usual profile. A very satisfying sweet aftertaste is prominent and the thick mouthfeel makes you want to drink more.

16 ounce can poured in a stout glass.
Rich dark chocolate brown color. The malted milk chocolate cap starts tall and tapers to a lasting film. There’s a little bit of lacing.
Complex aroma; sweet vanilla bean and chocolate blended in a whiskey cask.
Honey and vanilla flavors hit first followed by chocolate malt. Charred oak and whiskey blend, Irish and bourbon. A touch of toffee finds its way in to the mix.
Light and sweet feel. Alcohol infused chocolate liquid.
English Porter with Jersey and Irish additions.

Pours dark brown with a thick tan head (on draft). Aroma is light coffee and bourbon vanilla. Taste is roasted malt and kind of banana with the vanilla and honey. Feel is good, not overly bitter and smooth. Overall a decent porter that doesn't scream 7.1%
