Decanted from a 32 oz (946 ml) crowler into a muffin top pint glass; canned 9/10/20.
A: Pours a crystal clear, dark golden to amber color with one to one and a half finger, lemon chiffon head, modest retention and complex lacing early, although less so throughout the pour.
S: Aromas of grasses, grain (wheat more than anything), and lemon.
T: More semisweet than semidry. Gentle lemon zestiness, with touches of sweet hay, pepper, and pine.. Light bitterness offsets other flavors leaving a crisp, refreshing finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: A enjoyable, light, very drinkable and refreshing American Pale Ale. Drinks almost like a light lager, but I mean that is a good way. I could really get into keeping this around, but for me Tom's River is a schlep, so may never see another (as a small tear formed in the corner of his left eye). Was a gift from my best friend (Thanks, Bob!).
