Appearance: A handsome-looking, Beaujolaisesque hue with a slim, pinkish head.
Smell: Sweet-smelling, vibrantly fruity with a splash of vinous red wine and a light oak backing.
Taste: Fairly sweetish flavor of toast, vanilla underneathe a fruity blend of berries, cherries and wine grapes. A light, lingering oak and earthy spiciness with a nod towards of cinnamon and nutmeg, though far subtler. Fruity, spiced and sweetened finish with a bit of alcohol warmth.
Mouthfeel: A hefty medium-bodied. Relatively low carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel.
Overall: Pleasant. Not particularly funky. A bit more dessertlike thank I'd anticipated - I'd expected something a bit sharper, tarter and more dry instead of brew that seems more akin to a cheesecake topping.
