Appearance: Crystal clear bright gold, fluffy white head with good retention
Aroma: Floral, spicy, and bready.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Spicy hops, bread grains. Moderate to low bitterness. Balanced.
Mouth feel: Medium bodied. Soft with a drying finish. Moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: Terrific Kolsch style. Crystal clear and bright. Great head and retention. Has a grainy malt flavor that I have come to like in many versions of this style. Well balanced between hops and malt characteristics. Soft on the palate. Drink so easy and clean. You could sit and drink these all day. Well crafted by Bold Monk.
