Bold Monk Brewing and St. Somewhere Else deliver a reverent rebuke to sweetness with Bitter Sermon -- A Belgian-style pale aesthetic inspired by the uncompromising tradition of De Ranke XX Bitter. Brewed with a chorus of noble hops and a classic Belgian yeast, this unfiltered ale preaches a crisp bitterness, subtle floral spice, and a dry, clean finish. Earthy, complex, and assertively hoppy, Bitter Sermon is a call to those who listen closely for flavor beyond the familiar -- an invitation to believe in bitterness.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a nice creamy head. The Belgian yeast is prominent in the flavor and there is a pronounced bitterness. It a great example of a classic style.
