This beer is chocolate booze in your mouth! Rich, smooth chocolate notes abound, this full bodied monster goes down incredibly smooth. But be careful, it's 9.5% ABV, not that you could ever tell.

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 9-2-20 for $3.99. Canned in late August; consumed 11-5-20.
Beer poured brown with a smallish off white head that dissipated quickly.
Nose has light roasted malts with a touch of chocolate malts.
Taste follows the nose with a substantial roasted and chocolate malt base balanced nicely by a decent amount of hops to keep any sweetness out of the picture.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth.
Overall i cannot remember the last brown i had, maybe the barreled Firestone beer or Port Brewing, but it has been awhile. This has probably more hopping going on than the average brown. Nice effort at a nice price.
