Picked up a 16 oz mason jar draft on 10-1-20 at the Craft Beer Hop Stop for $4.00. Consumed 10-1-20.
Beer poured a deep golden with a very nice white head that is leaving lacing behind.
Nose is herbal, comes across as noble hops.
Taste is nice, the Proximity malt baseline comes across like a pilsner, kind of crackery and bready. The Wild Arizona hop lends an herbal quality with a touch of melon sweetness. Finishes very balanced per the APA style, 4/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall an interesting twist for a fresh hop ale with the pilsner underlying theme even though this is an ale. Would recommend as a nice unique sessionable ale!
