Thrilled to see a brewery (besides Stone; Odell) with the guts to go dark. A solid, inky dark ale with light mouthfeel and plenty of bitterness. Flavors of chicory, coffee, and mild chocolate—and maybe a hint of mesquite smoke? Hazy, lazy ale drinkers may not like this but if deep woods adventure by moonlight is your jam, check it out.
