Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed yellow-amber color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades very fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is being of a cracker malt mixed with aromas of coriander and clove as well as some smells of light yeastiness. Along with these aromas comes a light grain and bread as well as a touch of light fruit.
Taste – The taste begins with a cracker malt flavor matched with flavors of light fruit (apricot and pear) as well as a decent showing of coriander and clove. These tastes last throughout the taste. Toward the end of the taste profile a light graininess and some chocolate and berry notes come to the taste profile. and a increase in the spice hit the tongue, leaving one with a rather crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that was average. A little higher carbonation may have been better, but overall, the feel was good.
Overall – A rather decent blond. Easy drinking and flavorful.
