Drinking this at The Local Oaks Brewery in Beautiful downtown Winterville NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks dark amber with a nice tan foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring with some lacing.
Smells lightly toasted bready, lightly malty, sweet.
Taste follows the nose, not spicy.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style and a bit sticky.
Overall a nice amber lager that is definitely sessionable, just the thing for a campfire cookout.
Cheers!
