Walked down here from Iron Goat. There was a fall family event on, so it was pretty crowded. Service was still great, despite the commotion and there was still plenty of seating options too. Gorgeous street level patio. Beers were good, but it was too crowded to order a flight, so I had a couple of halves instead.

Good selection in terms of style. 18 taps. Good quality. the Hefe is a very authentic German beer. Seating for about 150. Large outdoor patio area. Very large screen TV, 10 or 12 feet. Food available in house.

Large brewpub in an old auto mechanic shop in the downtown area next to a park. Was there on a beautiful late summer afternoon, with tha garage door opened... spacious and comfortable. L-shaped bar in the center of the room mostly service, but a few stool on the short side. Where the courtyard ends and the park on the right side of the building begins is indistinguishable, but plenty of seating options. 16 beers on tap. Efficient service. I did not try the food.

Tall and modern. On two sides. there are two entire walls made up of roll up, windowed garage doors. The eastern one. opens up to a little city park and is just over a block from the river. Tall, modern wooden tables and polished concrete floors, with some wood and brick, making up the walls. The beer is quite so-so. The favored of the 4 tasted, was the Brick & Brick West Coast IPA.

I visited Brick West while in Spokane last weekend visiting friends; I've been there a couple times now. They have a huge outdoor seating area in a park-like setting and even a little stage for live performances. The taproom itself is cavernous with many big communal tables. There is an upstairs area with more intimate seating and a bird's eye view of the brewhouse. The overall look is industrial-chic, clean and bright, yet welcoming.

There were 9 of their beers on tap when I visited, including 4 IPAs, a pale, 2 lagers, a gose and a BA stout. The pilsner is pretty good, though a bit on the dry side. The gose is straightforward, light, refreshing and well done. Overall the beer is pretty decent!

another new brewery in spokane, wow, the scene here has absolutely exploded, its like there are a couple of new ones every time i come back here. this place is huge, on the west end of town, you cant miss it from just about anywhere with the big red tank on the roof, its massive and new and looks great inside. they have a very open and airy taproom, with long high top tables around, a line down the middle for the bar when you walk in, a lofted area above with more seating, and what looks like it will be an all time patio space when the weather breaks outside. the ceilings are high, the space feels clean and new, and the service was friendly and patient even though they were pretty busy when i was in. they dont do food here, but are adjacent to a new pub that does burgers and such, and you can order from the brewery which is probably ideal for both businesses, i did not eat, but will next time. they had a solid selection for being so new, cover a lot of ground, and i liked the two i had pretty well, a basic pils and a rye ipa, neither amazing, but not amateur at all either, and for being new, ill take that. i saw a lot of beers in here, a big bright space, and what obviously was a lot of investment dollars, but what i unfortunately did not see, was an original idea. nothing unique about the place, nothing too creative on the beer list, even the name and branding seem overly familiar. not saying they wont develop an identity, but right now its kind of an insert brewery here kind of vibe. pleasant place to be, but nothing at all to set it apart either. i think things will have to get a little more creative in here for them to be successful, but i also think they are off to a good start overall. their size along should make them a local player right away...
