Copenhagen 29/7 2020. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Neon green version of Alpha Delta's usual pretty cool design with some strange geometric designs hovering.

Pours hazy, milky, opaque, pale yellow with a big, dense white head. Settles as lumpy, uneven layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor of tropical fruits mingling with sourish citric fruit. Peach and papaya. Acerbic citrus and grape fruit.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth yet lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.

Quite sour and acidic. High and dry. Nice one.

L: Hazy light amber color, massive five finger white head, ok lacing, good carbonation.

S: Hops, yeast, tropical notes.

T: Hops, yeast, tropical notes. Nope.

F: Medium bodied, nicely flavored.

O: This has got to be one of the worst NEIPAs I ever had.

Pours a hazy yellow with a greenish tint and high, soapy head that drops quickly.

Smell is very Sabro, juicy with notes of lime, pineapple and coconut, with a slight... butteriness in the background.

Taste is juicy, almost a bit tart right as it hits your tongue. Next is a slight minerality with notes of peach, lime and grapes following. The coconut is still there, but very subtle. It probably gets hidden by the moderate, but slightly sharp bitterness that almost stings a little. Finish is dry, and the flavors disappear quicker than anticipated, leaving a slightly yeast feel.

Mouthfeel is medium, with prickly carbonation.

Overall, an interesting beer, that I think is supposed to be a combo between a Belgian IPA and a NE IPA.
