Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Essentially black with a brief pale tan foam lid.
S- Smells of coffee, not a sledge-hammer mind.
T- Coffee, some smoke and scent of log fire-place. I can just about see the 'dry' as it has some hoppy-dryness but a big bonus is the light richness isn't doing what can so often happen in contemporary beers such as this; that is be over-rich if not outright sweet.
F- It's clearly a pretty solid beer, but I'm impressed how all the main aspects are so well balanced.
O- A very accomplished beer. Nothing is over-bearing or out of place. The whole comes together really well. That said it's overall pretty full-on and will likely rate highly (higher) amongst a younger demograph.
Review1986/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! ==> Unfined, unfiltered, unpasterurised. Contains wheat, barley + oats. Surprisingly also contains maltodextrin and muscovado sugar.
440ml can BB: 25/05/2022 £5.75 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
