This recipe was crafted with Emily’s love of big, bold DIPAs in mind, and Emily and Jack brewed this beer together. Massive hop additions in the kettle, whirlpool, and fermenter result in a pleasant bitterness balanced with notes of orange peel. It’s always good to keep your wife hoppy.

This one pours a slightly dark-ish murky orange, with a small white head and lots of lacing.
This unfortunately smells a bit malty and astringent for tastes, with some slight vegetal notes.
This didn’t really work for me, unfortunately. The hop notes are much too astringent and vegetal, with a too heavy malt backbone on top of that. The hop character is also kind of soapy.
This is medium bodied and kind of slick, with not the highest level of drinkability.
I definitely want to give this brewery another shot, but I didn’t really enjoy this first outing from them.
