Poured from a growler purchased at Collective.

Appearance - Pours a reddish-copper with two fingers of bubbly white head.

Smell - mild earthy and floral hops, toffee and biscuity malts, light buttery characteristics, and earthy yeast.

Taste - earthy and floral hops upfront followed quickly into the toffee and biscuity malts. The buttery notes and earthy yeast round out the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium boded with moderate carbonation. Finishes with a pleasant bitterness from the hops and the toffee malts lingering.

Overall - A pleasant and very easy drinking Irish Red. I like how balanced this one is and the flavour of it. Well done!

Custom Advent Calendar 2022- Day 4

An excellent Irish Red in my opinion. Copper in colour, nice head that all but disappears after pouring.
Lovely malt flavour but the hops immediately remove the sweetness-- the very definition of well-balanced, in my book.
The ultimate compliment: It went down extremely quickly. I could be happy drinking this all night.

16 ounce can - no date but fresh to Edmonton from down Highway 2 in Red Deer.
Pours a beautiful clear dark ruby amber with two solid fingers of light khaki head.
Aroma is definitely malty - caramel, cereal grain, bready, hints of toffee, bit of earthy hop and citrus.
Taste is of caramel malt, toffee, biscuit/toast with a bit of earthy hop bitterness on the finish, just a touch of citrus in back.
Smooth medium mouthfeel on moderate carbonation with a touch of bitterness and a slightly dry finish.
Not a style I turn to often but this was delicious.
