Poured from a crowler purchased at Collective here in Cowtown.
Appearance - Pours a deep gold with two fingers of bubbly white head.
Smell - mild citrus, earthy, floral, leafy, and musty hops, citrus and grapefruit peel, caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus, earthy, floral, leafy, piney, and musty hops upfront. There is a bit of pine resin that comes through alongside the citrus and grapefruit peel. The caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops lingering alongside the citrus, grapefruit peel, and light pine resin.
Overall - A flavourful DIPA that showcases some balance. I just wish the hops and pine resin were a bit more predominant in this one. I will just frolick the night away with this one.
