Crawler canned on 5-18-2021 Consumed on 5-23-2021
Pours a lemon color from the crawler. Very murky, and hazy looking. There was a 1 finger white head in the glass. The head retention is quite poor. no lacing at all, and no residual ring on the edge of the glass.
The nose is a nice lime aroma. Slightly sweet. Slightly sour/tart.
Taste - This beer reminds me of a good key lime pie from Kermit's in Key West. There's tons of lime here. The lime is slightly sour, and tart, yet sweet at the same time. I don't think there's lactose in here, yet I also get a creamy flavor going on here.
The body is pretty good. The creamy flavor also has a creamy feel to this beer. The tartness feeling also lingers, yet is cut a bit by the sweetness.
A very delicious sour beer. Damn good, and recommended.
