This is a great stout from a super small brewery in new Durham NH. What I like about this beer is its not your typical stout. Its got the flavor of a basic stout but its got the mouth feel of a light beer. unique to say the least. Its a rare that you can drink multiple stouts while mowing your lawn!
Taste: roasty malt
Smell: about the same as the taste with hints of chocolate and oatmeal
look: nice and dark the way this style should be.

Growler from Johnson's Marketplace.
Pours a dark brown with garnet at the edges and a decent sized bubbly off white head that recedes quickly. Plenty of caramel and brown sugar with a hint of chocolate. Earthy hops and light fruity yeasty esters. Tastes more like a brown ale, really needs some roastiness.
