Copenhagen 29/3 2021. 33 cl can from Brygshoppen web-shop. Dutch Bargain with the name of the beer, brewery and style in a small stamp. Dark landscape with a cityscape in the distance.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with citric scents. Sweet pale malts, caramel, cardboard. Grapefruit, lemon and glue.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit on the malty side - and quite flat. But not without its own bitter charm.
