Bought this since their Wiener Original was quite good. This is supposed to be a mixed lager of dark and pale. It looks great with dark, almost brownish tinge but has no real lacing - and no smell at all, perhaps slightly, hints of malts. Its taste is also mixed, first it's like an ale or a lager without yeast, then it suddenly barley malt takes over with a dry aftertaste of roasted barley - but even that is a bit subtle because you can't really pinpoint it as the carbonation is so dense, not sharp though.
I never really liked mixed lagers, although this one has at least the advantage of not tasting or smelling of lager yeasts. Drinkable and quite clear but doesn't get anywhere near their Wiener Original.

Clear mahogany color with beige head. Aroma has toasted malts, some fermented grains astringency, light honey and some earthy hops. Taste starts toasty and sweet with honey and malt notes but balances out towards the finish with the hops giving a very light hop bitterness. Medium body, quite dry, light carbonation. Not bad at all actually. It's an easy drinking and tasty amber lager.
