Appearance - The beer poured a dark black color with a tan head.
Smell - The nose was fairly dry and did not reveal much about the taste.
Taste - The profile was pretty bold for a porter. Sweet coffee malts turn bitter in the finish. The finish is not particularly strong. It might be considered a but weak.
Mouthfeel - Soft carbonation and a bit of creaminess made this feel like a milk stout.
Overall - This is a solid entry for a newish brewery. It is on-target for the style.
