Back by popular demand, we took the concept of Just a Hint which was 3lbs for butterscotch candy on an imperial brown ale, and we moved that over to our stout but kicked it up a notch to 4.5lbs of butterscotch. With the blend of dark malts creating a roasted chocolate flavor, the SWEET butterscotch makes for a really delicious pastry stout. Keep supporting local folks and stay safe. Cheers and hi Jazy :)

Pours a pitch black color with a thin brown head that quickly dissipates. Head retention is virtually non-existant. Lacing is very mild. Somewhat roasty caramel, chocolate and butterscotch on the nose. Taste is just the same with a syrupy feel and very mild and somewhat peppery bitterness at the end. Heavier on the sweetness. Low carbonation.
