Pours a pitch black color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is very mild. Lacing is good. Has a mainly chocolate aroma with some butterscotch and slight roasting. Nice smooth chocolate butterscotch taste. Mild roastiness at the end. Lighter bodied than I would like but still good. Moderate carbonation.
