The moment we have waited 8 months for. The base stout that makes one of your favorites (Fudge) was loaded up into a magnificent Whitmeyer's Bourbon Barrel for 8 months to soak up all that Bourbon Goodness. She's a delicious little one, but keep an eye on her, at 12% ABV it will sneak up on you.

Pours a pitch black color with a small brown foamy head that quickly dissipates. Lacing is decent. Aroma is light. There is some whiskey barrel aroma for sure with a hint of fudge. Fudge comes out a little better on the taste with some whiskey on the hind end. Decent roasting on the end. Nice smooth taste but a little lighter on body than I would expect. Good job, though!
