This will be a different taste for many, but growing up as a kid the one consistency was every holiday season Grandma Mary was making her famous Biscochito cookies. Two key ingredients make this taste like no other cookie you have ever had....Star Anise, and Whiskey! In honor of our amazing Grandma Mary we have tried to replicate that holiday taste into a stout. We love you Grandma Mary! Please enjoy.

Pours a pitch-black color with a thin brown foamy head. Head retention is very mild. The lacing is mild. Has a mainly black licorice aroma. Whiskey and licorice up front on the taste with a smooth chocolate on the end. Medium to heavy bodied but with a little bit of a watery taste as well. Odd. If you like black licorice and chocolate, you will love this!
