SMASH stands for Single Malt and Single Hop. This little beauty is as simple as they come with the single grain being Pale Planet from our good friends at TBI Pro Brew Supply and the one....the only CTZ (Columbus/Tomahawk/Zues) hop. We love this hop because it has a bite to it which works on the resinous bitter element we wanted, but since we also did 2 late additions and a dry hop, you get the well rounded flavor and aroma as well. With the hot days of summer and the low ABV, should be a fun one. Cheer!

Pours a somewhat clear deep amber color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. I get the aroma of cereal grains, apple and piney resin. Very malty taste with some cereal grains and bitter piney resin. I still get some apple on the taste. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Nicely balanced WCIPA.
