We created this beer to honor the beer that got us into craft beer...Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Nothing in this recipe is even close but it was to honor the greatness of the pale ale style. For our version we did a very basic grain bill with two different pale malts that are very light, we wanted the hops to shine. Our base bittering hop is one of our favorite because of its sharp bite which is CTZ. We then layer in a late addition boil hop with Cascade to pick up some of that pine and grapefruit. We added a bit more Cascade for the final flame out but we came back like we always do with a tasty little dry hop, and in this case we used Ella. Final result...delicious!

Pours a very clear light amber color with a 1/2 finger width foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is good. Light citrus aroma an floral with some grainy malts. Taste is the same but with more grains at the end. Light bodied and very drinkable with moderate carbonation.
