Had vom fass at the biergarten near the town square in Mittenwald. It is a cloudy pale gold with a persistent creamy white head. The taste is sugar, lemon, vanilla, and very light hops. The taste is malt, lemon zest, and a pleasant malty flavor. The mouthfeel is creamy, with light carbonation. This beer is wonderfully balanced and very refreshing. This is an excellent hefe and one I would definitely seek out and drink all afternoon long. Prost!
