A great brewery to hang out at in a small town in Michigan. It’s easy to pass by on your way to Frankfort, Traverse City or the lake, but it’s worth stopping in at. Lots of entertainment on site for people of all ages. Both indoor and outdoor to accommodate both winter and summer. Food is good. Generally have a pleasant experience, though once we had an awkward interaction with a server. I’d attribute it to being a one off and happily go back.

Slowly becoming one of my favorite spots in Northern Michigan. Maybe not "out of your way" worth a drive, but if you're reasonably close, I'd recommend it. The beer is fantastic and easily becoming #1 or #2 for me in the upper half of the state (competing with Short's still). The food menu leaves a bit to be desired, but the options are there. Awesome outdoor seating for the summer and a decently large indoor space. Haven't been in the winter, but heard it's just as fun.

My wife and I stopped here to try the beers from this recently-opened brewery. It's located in a small town, but is an easy off/on from US-31 to visit. (Only 7-8 miles from Stormcloud Brewing in Frankfort.) The building is in the style of a Quonset hut structure, and the interior has wood paneling and open rafters to set the vibe. However, the brewery has closed the interior except for the bar where beer is ordered (the restrooms are open) because of COVID-19, and erected a heated tent at the front area of the beer garden on the side lot. Some outdoor tables with shade umbrellas are also located at the front of the building and to the rear of the tent. Gas fire pits are situated among these areas. Parking is available along the street or to the rear in a lot across the side street
We ordered a sampler flight inside at the bar and carried them to a table at the front of the building. Eight beers were available, but four fit on the paddle. All four were brewed to style-plus, but nothing was overly exciting. The brewery cans some of their beers and sends some to the Detroit area and to Ann Arbor so watch social media for release information.

Newest craft brewery in Benzie County, on the north side of downtown Beulah. Great historic building with plenty of seating, either at the large counter or at numerous tables. Opened January, 2020 with numerous beer selections, but limited food menu (with plans to expand menu soon). Bright, welcoming space with a high ceiling.
