On tap at the brewery
Very dark amber pouring beer that gets slightly lighter at the bottom of the glass. One finger brownish head that has great retention and good lacing.
The nose is a roasted caramel malt aroma.
Definite caramel malt flavor. There's also cola like flavors in this beer. There is a slight bitterness to the finish.
Bubbly feeling. Slightly crisp feeling. Decent fullness.
Tasty example of the style.

Drinking this at The Nauti Dog Brewing Company in Beautiful downtown Winterville NC.
Looks deep Amber with a nice foamy tannish head that dropped slowly to a thin cap.
Smells malty, sweet, caramel.
Taste follows the nose nicely with a nice caramel finish.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style.
Overall a very nice example of a Scottish Ale that I would definitely order again.
