Tight three-finger head that recedes slowly in a lumpy fashion. Cloudy dirty gold color; it looks like apricot juice. Blanketing lace as the head recedes.
Strong earthy hop aroma. This smells like freshly mown weeds. It's strong enough to dominate any notable malt nose.
The malt provides a decent base while the hop is still pronounced. This creates a better balance than expected. The carbonation is elevated. The body is typical for the style. There's a light sweetness which counters the weedy, biting hop bitterness.
