Cloudy, creamy yellow-orange color with two fat fingers of off-white head that straddle the border of foamy and soapy. The head lasts a good while before leaving thick, soapy lacing.
Lovely light citrus intertwines with less-than-lovely Playdoh in the nose.
The taste again has clear citrus and then an element that very much tastes like a traditional saison: hay, a hint of mushroom, clove, lemon, clay. This is all followed by a lightly bitter finish.
Creamy, thick bodied with modest carbonation.
I think others will be more forgiving of the doughiness than I am. The look, feel and citrus elements are all quite nice.
