Poured chilled from a can into a 16oz pint glass. Appearance is hazy, murky somewhere between straw and pale gold. Two-finger sudsy head with ample lacing.
Aroma is as you would expect from the hops bill (citra/sabro). Tropical fruit, citrus, tangerine, maybe some mint and earthy tones. Aroma is delightful....fresh asf!
Taste follows the nose with a punch in the taste buds bursting with tropical fruit juice, citrus, some peach, apricot, cream. Fair amount of oat sweetness, some mild bitterness on that back. Would like a little more forward bittering to balance out the sweetness, but this isn't bad. Just personal preference.
Mouthfeel is fuller side of medium. Very creamy and sweet (thanks to the oats in the grain bill I presume?). Smooth.
Overall, this is decent. First beer I had the chance to try at Warwick Brewery and it was a hot day and this concoction hit the spot! As stated previously, for me I like the NEIPA a little less sweet. All the flavors are there in aroma and taste that I enjoy in this style. I would get this one again.
