Dark amber with a half finger of tan head.
Dark amber malt, apple and a vegetal pumpkin-like note in the nose.
Coffee, apple, cherry and the vegetal impression combine in the taste, with a metallic element and moderate earthy bitterness in the finish.
Creamy and full-bodied feel for the style.
I don’t dislike the coffee element, but for an Oktoberfest it misses all the traditional notes and lacks the quaffability I look for.
