Pours an opaque dark brown with a finger of mocha head reducing to a nice ring and plenty of soapy lacing. Aroma is chocolate, toast, coffee, and cream. Taste follows suit with a tart undertone. Feel is silky smooth with a good carb bite on the finish. Good beer.

Pours a murky-looking dark chestnut brown with a finger of creamy, dark tan head. Good retention and lacing.
Nice, creamy roasted malts in the nose with a little sweetness and a hint of carbon dioxide.
The taste follows with some nice roasted malt character, chocolate sweetness, and a fruity hint of apple throughout.
Creamy feel with nitro-esque carbonation.
Reminds me of an earlier period in craft beer. Very enjoyable.
