On tap (nitro) at the brewery into a plastic cup.
Dark black in color, light tan head, great nitro retention and lacing.
Coffee, roast, dark chocolate aromas.
Bitter tasting with the above flavors.
Thought this would be smoother especially on nitro. Medium bodied with a prounounced bitter aftertaste.
The person I was drinking this with said this was like Guinness. Maybe but not really. It's an enjoyable enough stout though.

Here at the farm, it was served from the tap in a full clear pint plastic cup. It's black coffee brown with an ample kakhi head that is enduring. Its roasted malt aroma is delightful. So is the taste, although it's not overly complex. Just your well-made Irish Stout here, with plenty of roasted malt and mild hopping delivered in a smooth and supple body. That it's propelled by nitrous gas can't hurt the latter. There's lovely glass lacing inside the cup. As mentioned, it's smooth, but it's also pleasantly light across the tongue. Like a good Irish style stout, it dries out enough at the finish. Overall, there may not be better circumstances for having one, on location, on a sunny and mild late Spring afternoon, nestled in the bucolic area of Bucks County, Pa. But, this is good enough to augment the experience, not benefit from it.
