8 oz pour into a chalice glass. Look is deep, dark brown with some ruby highlights. No head, but a small thing ring around the edge. Smell is Irish cream, whiskey, vanilla cream, and roasted barley malt. Taste starts sweet with Irish cream and Irish whiskey up front. Middle sees some roasty bitterness and a hint of coffee. The finish has a shot of vanilla cream along with some bourbon barrel characteristics. The aftertaste lingers a while with coffee and cream flavor. Feel is medium bodied, almost no carbonation, it coats the tounge and the alcohol is evident. Overall, this is a rather sweet and boozy beer. It drinks well, but maybe a bit hot. Aging may help here.
