Poured chilled from a fresh can into a 16 oz pint glass.
Two-finger foamy white head that lingers and also leaves lots of lacing on the glass.
Appearance is cloudy hazy straw. Almost opaque. Looks like a glass of grapefruit and pineapple juice blended with a foamy head.
Aroma is similar to the look I just noted....tropical fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, vanilla, peach, some dank pine. Absolutely delicious nose to this one!
Taste follows the nose as expected with a burst of juicy fruits....pineapple, grapefruit, candied peach, alcohol underneath, malt, fresh cut grass, dank.
Mouthfeel is pillowy like a cloud (thus the name?). Smooth, creamy, wet. Rather sweet fruity punch in the mouth followed by some alcohol warmth and subtle hop bitterness. Definitely leans sweet. Would love just a little more bittering to balance this one out. Grassy notes linger for a while on the palette.
Overall, this is enjoyable. Fresh, tasty....one of the better noses for a 3x IPA I've had. Glad this place is walking distance to my house. Will get this one again.
