A bold Black IPA brewed in collaboration with Stable 12. Double dry-hopped with Simcoe for layers of pine, citrus zest, and resin, balanced by smooth notes of dark chocolate and candied orange. Hop-forward and dangerously drinkable.

Pours a black with dark brown/grayish head. Smell is pine and a little char with roasted malt. Taste is very interesting and complex. Pine is definitely present mixed in with hops and a nice coffee/espresso note. Feels slightly sticky with pleasant carbonation. This is a well put together and interesting offering I would highly recommend.

From an undated 16oz can into a weizen glass.
Pours an opaque very, very dark brown-almost black color with a little over one finger of greyish tan head. Incredible lacing and retention.
Pine hits the nose first followed by faint aromas of dark chocolate, coffee, toasted grain and citrus.
Taste is dominated by pine resin, dark chocolate, coffee and citrus peel. Bitterness is present but not overpowering.
Full-bodied, sticky mouthfeel. Low to medium carbonation.
This is a really well put-together, complex beer.
