Just added this beer to the database a year after having it. I'm also going to write a review for it because I'm not a total sociopath.
Pours a cloudy yellow, light brite. Looks to be right around the 1/2" white head level. Can logo artwork looks like the forest is on fire, what a great use of foreshadowing to this summer.
Good down under hop usage here, Moteuka, Azacca and Cashmere I think, not sure about the third one. But you get those down under breathy hops with tropical and equatorial like dankness.
Taste does the trick, even if practically ubiquitous, you can never have enough good ipas out there. This one is dialed in with some of that exotic fruit like tropical notes from the hops and a nice intertwined barley and mild flaked oat/wheat kind of body that is neither too bitter in its sharpness, nor all watery gloop glop trubby. Carbonation works good with this beer. Papaya, passion fruit, white grape like notes. This is a well done beer.
