Pours medium hazy honey color with a short-lived finger of gassy head. No lacing. The nose is quite subdued. Lime juice and faint floral soap. Nothing much else going on there. In the flavor either. Clean, dry medium bitterness with neither yeast nor malt character to speak of. It is what it is. On the palate it is enjoyable and easy to drink. It is(to briefly sound like a 90-year-old) what I understand this new-fangled 'style' to be. Dry, clean, crisp, med-high carbonation.
This is a decent, well-brewed, tasty beer. If anything it is a good to very good beer. It just doesn't "pop" or have its own character and I think it needs to. Take the reins, as it were. I'd love it if it was more assertive (particularly the nose).
It is a dry, possibly warm-fermented lager, with a west coast angle on an east coast hop usage. Regardless, it is good without being great. The hops need to have some sort of punch or quirk or depth to them. So overall, it wasn't the greatest, but the execution was good enough for a little bump on the overall from me. Good beer.
