Brewed for the first anniversary of Happy Trails to Brews. This amazing brew was made with a pilsner malt and Mosaic hops. Looks like a pilsner but everything else avout it screams IPA. Cheers!

Thanks to woemad for this one. 16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. poured a clean, clear, bright light gold color with 3/4 inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.

Soft hops, froot and grass, were at the front of the nose, with a pleasant light grain base.

Similar on the tongue; hop forward with nice, earthy malts behind.

The body was light and crisp, smooth, carried good carb, and had a semi-dry finish.

Drinkability was nice, i could see draining a couple pints.

Overall, a pretty nice brew. I don't know how old this can is, but if the hops were brighter, I think I would have liked it better. Still, worth a shot if you see it.

Clear yellow body, white cap. Mild mosaic hop nose with wisps of grains. Taste is watery, hops are very bitter and pleasant with vegetable and earthy tones, but there is nothing there for them to interact with, even the maltwork is weak, tastes like hoppy water. Feel is obviously watery, thin and bright, hops do provide some texture though. Disappointing debut

16oz tallboy can from a 4-pk purchased at the brewery for $14.99. It's, as the name suggests, a SMaSH IPA, brewed with Mosaic hops and Pilsener malt, and is a tribute to Happy Trails To Brews, a bar/bottle shop in Spokane's Indian Trail neighborhood. There's a stamp on the side of the can, hard to read, given the darkness of the label on the spot they chose, partly smudged, that seems to say "09.03.2020."

Poured into the glass, this was a pretty beer. Clear, golden amber. Eggshell white head dropped pretty damn fast, though. Not a lot of lace.

Really nice nose on this, Mosaics still pop out really well. Fruity and piney.

Nice mosaic hop float on a sea of crispy pilsener malt. Really drinkable stuff, but a little one dimensional. It just happens to be a tasty dimension. Ends on a lightly crispy note.

Body is somewhere between light and medium. Mouthfeel is crisp, but also a little watery.

Nice SMaSH IPA. I'm digging that it's clearly a West Coast IPA. Really easy drinking. It's not complex at all, just good and satisfying. I could happily drink several of these.

Very transparent appearance, looks like a light pilsner for sure. Hoppy aroma, some pine and maybe a tad fruity. Tastes a little watered down, not enough complexity. Nice beer to start out the evening and get the palate warmed up.

Amber appearance with nice white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a mild hops . Taste is a very smooth hops with little harshness. Well worth trying.
