16oz can poured into my HF tulip.
A: Beautiful bright red with full-on haze and lots of carbonation with minimal head and lacing.
S: Not a full-on sour assault but fairly tart with lots of berry notes and some lactobacillus-y lemon, as well as some sweet balance of vanilla. Mild impressions of citrus and stone fruit as well.
T: Leads with that berry tartness before the sweetness of lactose and vanilla sets in mid-palate; mild sour lemon impressions as well as light peach and citrus notes, but this mostly blackberry tartness with that moderate vanilla character.
MF: Tart mouthfeel with a light-to-medium body that moves quickly along the palate in a refreshing, carbonated fashion.
O: I would prefer a sour beer that leans into the sweetness, or into the sourness, one or the other. This kind of walks a middle road in between the two, so that you get all of the flavors of the adjuncts, but they almost compete with each other. Overall, a good sour though.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
