Yes, you read that right. We took our Campfire Snack pastry stout that is jam-packed with graham crackers, marshmallow, cacao nibs, peanut butter and vanilla and then aged in it bourbon barrels for 14 months. You're welcome.

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight whilst in Spokane for work. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that left some lace. The beer was good and had s'mores with bourbon smell and taste. Overall it is a great beer.

16oz can pours pitch black. Roasty notes of smoke and bourbon from the barrel aging, warm and oaky and earthy. Notes of cacao nibs and neutral vanilla bean, boozy on the finish with a good dose of roasty bitterness. Was expecting and hoping for more sweetness and pastry presence. The barrel rest took this beer a different direction, not a bad one though.

An 8 ounce draft pour at the brewery into a tulip glass.

Look- Black, dark brown frothy head, opaque, average lacing, below average head retention.

Smell- Chocolate, bourbon, vanilla,
high strength of scent.

Taste- Chocolate, marshmallow, bourbon, medium strength of scent.

Feel- Medium body, moderately bitter, average carbonation, moderately mouth coating.

Overall- This beer had a fantastic bouquet, but the flavors just couldn’t live up to it.
