Poured into a Seattle Beer Week glass. Pours a lightly hazy, light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and fruit hops, orange, vague mixed tropical fruit and light stone fruit and a hint of pine. Flavor is lightly caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, grapefruit, orange, tropical fruit punch and a little dankness. Solid grapefruit rind bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. The aroma was promising, but the taste is mostly grapefruit with other interesting fruit and dank flavors in the margins. Nice malt depth with some caramel, which I like but see less these days. Satisfying West Coast leaning IPA with an uncomplicated hop flavor profile.
