Pours a glowing golden color with a medium sized, spongy head.
Smells of rich wheat, light toffee and whole grain bread.
Has a light body to it, amped up by a very lively carbonation, making this quite a burp intensive beverage.
Tastes of caramel, sun ripened wheat, toffee and a corn syrup. This starts off quite sweet and only the lively carbonation in this manages to establish some balance. Finishes with more sugars, an aqueous note and a whiff of wheat.
This misses both character and balance. The beer is sweet and rustic, but its carbonation is a bit too harsh and a light hop appearance would make this much more enjoyable in terms crispness.
