Pours murky brown-amber with huge off-white head, lretentios is long. Smell of malts, bread, caramel, yeasts. Flavour is bready, yeasty, slight caramel. Light body, decent carbonation. Expectedly average zwickel.

A: The beer is hazy yellowish amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high off white head that has excellent retention properties that died down a bit but never completely faded away.
A: There are light aromas of yeast in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste is a little bland and has light flavors of earthy yeast along with some slight hints of apples.
M: It feels light-bodied, slightly chewy and a little thin on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but isn't as flavorful and complex compared to other zwickel beers.

Nothing special here, compared to other keller/zwickl's consumed in same session. Tasted rather flat compared to similar style biers. Color and head looked about right, but taste was flat. I had visited this brauerei in the early 90's when they weren't bottling, and hoped for better...
