Poured a black body with minimal head and lace down glass. The aroma has hints of chocolate and a lactic, oatsy smell. Smooth, very smooth, the oatmeal aspect along with lactic qualities make this beer somewhat slick. The oatmeal aspect, along with a rather mild chocolate taste give beer a not-too-cloying sweetness and the finish is slightly dry and easy. Rather simple but very effective beer that is worth trying.
