Poured a black body with decent head and minimal lace. The aroma is strong in the booze and wood department with some minor notes of chocolate. Smooth, lighter body than expected, has a watery chocolate sweetness with minimal bitterness and moderately hidden booze. A slight sugary sweetness hits on the backend, and while this isn't a terrible beer it's a bit muddled and all over the place.
