Sampled on tap at the brewery on Sept 12, 2021.
The appearance is a medium amber color underneath a short-lived off-white head.
The malt forward aromas consist of toffee, caramel, and black currents. There is a little char and lower profile earthy hops.
The mouthfeel is very light. I might have wanted a heavier body.
The taste is sweet and malt forward all the way with a mild dry finish at the end.

Draft at the brewery
Fair frothy smaller off white head with moderate retention, fair soapy lacing, crystal clear caramel auburn color
Nose sweet caramelized malts, toffee, little nutty, biscuity, toasted grainy malt, hint dried fruit
Taste brings sweet malt flavors but not actually sweet, mild biscuity toffee, caramel, a bit of dried fruits, getting quite biscuit cracker like, light bitterness with a dry finish
Mouth is med to a touch lighter bod, med lighter carb
Overall pretty good, basically on style
